Open Air / Winning Pictures Edition 2021

For the first time in Switzerland, the Fotofestival Lenzburg 2021 will present a selection of 52 of the winning pictures of the renowned SONY World Photography Awards, in an open-air exhibition in the most beautiful gardens of Lenzburg.

Produced by the World Photography Organisation (WPO), the internationally acclaimed Sony World Photography Awards is one of the most important fixtures in the global photographic calendar. Now in its 15th year, the free-to-enter Awards are a global voice for photography and provide a vital insight into contemporary photography today. For both established and emerging artists, the Awards offer world-class opportunities for the exposure of their work. The Awards additionally recognise the world’s most influential artists working in the medium through the Outstanding Contribution to Photography Awards; previous recipients include Martin Parr, William Eggleston, Mary Ellen Mark, Candida Hofer, Nadav Kander and Graziela Iturbide.

It is an honour for the Fotofestival Lenzburg to start this imporant partnership, offering outstanding artists from all over the world a platform to reach a wide public in Switzerland.
